So. You guys. Thank you. Last night I thought I was meeting Carol for dinner but was instead surprised to find Rebecca Trent, Caroline Creaghead, Marianne Ways, and Jeremy Levenbach there at Bozu with a gift from all of you. I mean. Honestly.
If you’re a photo nerd this is what y’all gave me: Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM AutoFocus Telephoto Zoom Lens. If you’re not a lens geek, what it basically means is nicer pictures shot from further away from stage to be less interrupting of performances, but with not so much noise in the pics and with greater details and focus.
I’m in the middle of a monster of an edit, but I’ll be doing a proper still life of the lens itself and the card with alllllll your names on it later this week to go in this years “Year in Comedy”.
I can’t wait to thank you in person by taking way nicer performance shots with this thing. Overwhelmed and grateful and Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
